I sit down to share my review of the premium, coffee-table book styled Dungeons & Dragons: Worlds & Realms from Ten Speed Press and Penguin Random House. Told from the point of view of the Greyhawk mage Mordenkainen, the narrative tours across the material realms and beyond with stops in Greyhawk, Mystara, Eberron, the Feywild, Sigil, and more.

SUMMARY

While I don't really care for the narrative approach by way of the mage Mordenkainen, and would have preferred the information to be presented straight up, there's tons to love about D&D: Worlds & Realms. You'll take a very interesting tour of the major locales from the history of Dungeons & Dragons while getting an eyeful of artwork from across the history of the game. It's important to keep in mind this is not a game volume but is what we used to refer to, back in the day, as a coffee-table book.
