I share my thoughts about the second volume of the massive Gods of the Forbidden North old school fantasy adventure campaign from Pulp Hummock Press. The tale is designed for use with Old-School Essentials Advanced Fantasy but can easily be used with nearly any OSR retroclone.

SUMMARY

I've really enjoyed the Gods of the Forbidden North adventure campaign to this point. I believe the worldbuilding for the frozen setting is its biggest selling point while the adventures comprising the campaign are very well done too. Keep in mind, even though this is designed for OSE Advanced Fantasy, the book isn't laid out like OSE OSR adventures from Necrotic Gnome; some OSR fans might find this to be far more verbose than what they look for in the adventure releases. Still, the 530 page volume is packed with enough content to provide for a huge number of game sessions.
