I take on the hardcover edition of Old School Reference Index Compilation (OSRIC) version 2.2 from the First Edition Society. The book revises the core material of AD&D in one volume, under the OGL.

*Note* I do understand the “C” in OSRIC stands for compilation NOT companion. I have no idea why I said companion… Doh!

Summary
If you're looking for a complete AD&D experience, warts and all, then OSRIC is a must have. The book isn't a revision but more a revamp; making the original information easier to digest. I really like what First Edition Society has done with this rules set although, obviously, the insightful Gary Gygax advice for the originals is not present.
