I share a bit of a how to play as well as his thoughts about Battle of the Bulge 1944 from Worthington Publishing. The wargame tackles the famed WWII battle in a relatively short playing time. Is this a quick playing, lightweight wargame perfect for introducing the hobby to non-wargamers? Or is Battle of the Bulge 1944 yet another disposable Bulge game in a sea of Bulge games? You’ll find out!

Summary
Battle of the bulge 1944 makes for an excellent gateway to introducing gamers to wargaming. The game moves fast and has some nice wrinkles to add to your decision making. Granted the game isn't a deep simulation nor does it model various systems on the battlefield so I doubt this will be in the most die hards' wheelhouses. Also this isn't designed for solitaire play, regardless what the box says. A good solid, light wargame but also a touch pricey.
