It’s Thursday and that means there’s new free PC gaming goodness available at the Epic Games store. This week brings two award winners in A Plague Tale: Innocence from Focus Home Interactive and Minit from Devolver Digital. You can score both games absolutely free through 10am August 12th.

Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.

1349. The plague ravages the Kingdom of France. Amicia and her younger brother Hugo are pursued by the Inquisition through villages devastated by the disease. On their way, they will have to join forces with other children, and evade swarms of rats using fire and light. Aided only by the link that binds their fates together, they will face untold horrors in their struggle to survive. As their adventure begins… the time of innocence ends.

Minit from Devolver Digital

Minit is a peculiar little adventure played sixty seconds at a time. Journey outside the comfort of your home to help unusual folk, uncover countless secrets, and overcome dangerous foes, all in hopes of lifting a rather unfortunate curse that ends each day after just one minute. Minit is a collaboration between Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio & Dominik Johann.
