The classic Ambrose Bierce tale The Middle Toe of the Right Foot receives an adaptation on The Weird Circle – which aired on May 24th, 1944 – for tonight’s entry in The Gaming Gang October Spooktacular. The Weird Circle was produced out of RCA’s New York studios sadly only aired for two seasons. The program tended to adapt classic short stories. The budgets for The Weird Circle were very small, so there wasn’t any music in the episodes which strangely makes them sound more modern compared to other programs of the 1940s.
