Spring training is right around the corner and one of the rites of late winter, for many sports gamers, is the annual Opening Day for pick up of the previous season player cards for Strat-O-Matic Baseball! This year is no different as SOM players travel from across the country to get their hands on the full compliment of teams from our national pastime.
Fifty one years after it’s initial release, Strat-O-Matic is still going strong and is the undisputed leader in table top sports simulations!
As you can see below, folks take their SOM Baseball seriously as these gents were waiting in line early this morning to snatch up their preorders. Kudos to people like this for supporting their favorite sports game and a historic company!
