Twilight Imperium Expansion – Shards of the Throne

Fantasy Flight Games has announced Shards of the Throne, an expansion for Twilight Imperium 3. A deadly new technology is introduced, as well as three new races. Mercenaries appear to sell their skills to the highest bidder, massive flagships and heavily armored mechanized units add their might to your own.

There will be a new political intrigue option to allow you to control the amount of influence you have in the galactic council, or do damage to you opponent’s influence. You can guarantee the cooperation of an ally now with the introduction of promissory notes, a binding promise that can be called in at any time.

Shards of the Throne also comes with a historic scenario where you control the crumbling empire of the Lazex. Change the course of history!

All this and new Race-Specific Technologies, Preliminary Objectives, new Domain Counters, new System Tiles, plus new content for the Shattered Empire expansion. It’s an uber expansion for an uber game.
