Bruce Campbell to Return in ‘Ash Vs. Evil Dead’ in 2015

Come on! You can never get enough of the chin that could kill! Add Sam Raimi into the mix and it’s sure to be something at least watch worthy. Deadline is reporting director Raimi and Bruce Campbell will join forces to produce Ash Vs. The Evil Dead for Starz, with Campbell set to reprise his role of Ash Williams. The series is planned for a ten half-hour episode run with Raimi set to write and direct the initial episode.

Ash vs. Evil Dead will be executively produced by Raimi, Campbell and Rob Tapert with a script written by Raimi, brother Ivan Raimi, and Tom Spezialy.

“Evil Dead has always been a blast,” Raimi said. “Bruce, Rob, and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to tell the next chapter in Ash’s lame, but heroic saga. With his chainsaw arm and his ‘boomstick,’ Ash is back to kick some monster butt. And brother, this time there’s a truckload of it.”

Hail to the king, baby! Although I wish we were looking at ten one hour long episodes…
