Loving the Website Issues

Well it’s Tuesday so that must mean internet problems! This week it’s issues which have been plaguing the website since Saturday night with slow load times, frequent outages, heavy server loads and so on. I’ve been working behind the scenes to keep everything afloat but much of the trouble is due to some DoS attacks and a slew of spammers trying to get past our security measures.

Yeah loads of fun… I’m hoping we may finally have a handle on it so we’ll see what happens over the next 48 hours. To also lighten the load on the server I’m offloading the podcasts to another location but that’s a process which will take a week or so to complete.

No new episode of The Daily Dope tonight as I have to get these server issues under control!

We’ll get through it as the site was cranking along really nicely until Saturday. Oh well…  Don’t worry, TGG isn’t going to go the way of Board Game News as a victim of its own success!
