Elliott and Jeff spend a Sunday morning chatting with Jay Mann and Rick Ivansek, the organizers of the upcoming Vul-Con convention taking place in Phoenix, AZ this February 25th and 26th 2012.

The event is being billed as “the Southwest’s Premiere Strategy Game Convention.” Programming and guest information is a little light this early on, but the event’s website mentions games like Carcassone, Ticket to Ride, Shadows over Camelot, Talisman, Flames of War, Warhammer, Warmachine, Heroscape, Wings of War, Dust Tactics, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dungeons and Dragons, Savage Worlds and World of Darkness.

The Gaming Gang Episode 21: Call of Cthulhu The Card Game, Frontline General, Space Infantry and More!

The gruesome twosome are at it again as they tackle reviews of Call of Cthulhu The Card Game from Fantasy Flight Games, Frontline General: Spearpoint 1943 from Collins Epic Wargames, and Space Infantry from Lock ‘n Load Publishing.

Jeff shares a sneak peek at the upcoming Dawn of the Zeds coming from Victory Point Games and, as always, there’s the usual mix of news and views as well as an oddball reference or two.

The Gaming Gang Extra Number 11: Über Goober Games at Origins 2011

Yep, only a few more extras for you to enjoy and we had fun talking with Steve Metze from Über Goober Games while hanging at Origins. We talk about Über RPG: Steampunk, Undead States of America, and a lot more. There’s loads to like about this small company and you’ll hear all about it!

The Gaming Gang Extra Number Nine: Asmodee at Origins 2011

Aren’t we ever going to run out of these interviews? Well, we are getting closer but we still have a few left up our sleeves!

Elliott takes the lead as we talk to Stefan Brunell of Asmodee and chat with the designers of the up coming Quebec, set to make its bow at this year’s Essen.

The Gaming Gang Extra Number Seven: Stronghold Games at Origins 2011

Stephen Buonocore, one of the dynamic duo behind Stronghold Games, spent some time chatting with Elliott and I in the Origins press room. We discuss Survive: Escape from Atlantis and Confusion: Espionage and Deception in the Cold War as well as what’s on the horizon for Stronghold.

Stephen also happens to be a listener to the podcast but I’ll be honest and point out I *ahem* edited out the part where he says Elliott and I aren’t very entertaining.

The Gaming Gang Extra Number Six: Reaper Miniatures at Origins 2011

Bryan Stiltz, of Reaper Miniatures, spent some time chatting with myself in the Origins press room. We discuss the various lines of figures as well as Warlord and the upcoming Reich of the Dead.

As a long time miniatures painter I really was looking forward to chatting with Bryan!

The Gaming Gang Extra Number Four: Square Shooters at Origins 2011

Elliott and I got to take a peek at one of the hottest new family/hobby items hitting retailers and booksellers, Square Shooters. As you’ll hear, this is a perfect quick dice game that will appeal to even non-gamers while you’re kicking back on your summer getaways.

The Gaming Gang Extra Number Three: Author Timothy Zahn at Origins 2011

In a special edition of the podcast, Jeff and Elliott talk with acclaimed science fiction author, Timothy Zahn, at last weekend’s Origins 2011.

Timothy shares details about writing in the Star Wars universe as well as his Cobra series. You’ll learn what’s on the horizon from one of the convention’s guests of honor!
