Hermes Press to Reprint Walt Kelly’s Pogo

One of the classics of comic books is set to reappear as Hermes Press is preparing a three volume set to reprint all of Walt Kelly’s Pogo stories published by Dell in the 1940s and 1950s. The first volume of Walt Kelly’s Pogo: The Complete Dell Comics, scheduled for a June 2013 release, will collect all the Pogo tales originally appearing in Animal Comics as well as Four Color comics. The volume is a 272 page hardcover and carries an MSRP of $50.

Each volume in the series will include original art, essays, and documentary materials exploring Kelly’s Pogo work for Dell.
