Knights and Magick Now Available as Softcover, Hardcover, or Coil Bound Books

Following up on the success of our release of the electronic version of the long out of print Knights and Magick miniatures rules system, actual hard copies are now available for purchase. The print versions come in three flavors: softcover, hardcover, and coil bound editions.

Now you are there, beneath the waving banners – a leader of knights and bowmen eager for battle and glory in the glittering Age of Chivalry. The Priest raises his great cross and steel whispers as your knights draw swords. Bowmen let fly their shafts as the great warhorses’ hooves paw the earth and thunder into a charge.

Or you can lead the forces of darkness – a powerful sorcerer conjuring monsters and demons, wrecking the very earth,
commanding armies of foul creatures in a campaign of conquest.

So don your armor and ready your book of spells, for- through the hobby of Adventure Gaming with miniature figures – you are about to enter the enchanted realm of Knights and Magick.

Knights and Magick begins where role-playing games end. It is a complete game system for medieval and fantasy combat. Only Knights and Magick includes all these features in one package:

Basic Game Rules
Painting Guide for Figures
Setup Guide for Tabletop Terrain
Advanced and Optional Rules, including:
  Heroic Warriors
  Magick Spell Casting
  Fantasy Races and Monsters
  Jousts and Tournaments
  Siege Warfare
  Fantasy and Historical Army Lists
  Game Scenarios
  Campaign Game
  Magick Spells Index
  Complete Monster Lists

Originally Published in 1980 by Heritage USA- and out of print for more than 30 years- Knights and Magick is made available once again through The Gaming Gang and is the first of a proposed all new line of Knights and Magick rule sets and supplements.

Maybe, very late in 2020, we’ll bring an all new edition of Knights and Magick to the public. This will be a full color rulebook which reimagines all the best of K&M while improving and streamlining the rules as we bring you more adventures, more campaigns, more monsters, more magick, and more heroes and armies. Or, in other words, more of what makes Knights and Magick a lot of fun!

  6. here it is 2019, admitted early 2019, and I remember the above said 2017 for a new edition. Now 2018. Is this still coming or is it vaporware?

    • Well I’ve talked to a couple of companies about releasing the revised rules but the discussions have been slow moving, at best. Plus my heart attack last year didn’t help. At this point I don’t know what to predict since it isn’t as if there’s a rapid fan base knocking down the door to get their hands on this either.

  7. Hi Jeff – Hope all is well with you and your family during these trying times. Just wanted to say “Thank you” for putting these out for all to download (even for free!). It is a nice little set of rules for minis and hopefully those who are tired of having to purchase tons of warhammer and 40k along with all the DnD stuff, will give these rules a try and see how things can be simpler and easier from an actual era gone by. Will be on the look out for the new set in late 2020.

  8. Hi Jeff,

I was wondering how the revised rules were coming along. You were hoping to have them done by end on 2020.

I’m interested in picking this up to see how you streamlined the rules.

    Thanks,

    Matthew

  9. I know there are folks out there interested in a revised (2nd Ed. ) set of rules. If you own the rights, would you consider offers from others to carry on the work?

    • If there’s anyone out who’d like to team up to make a new edition a reality I’d be happy to explore it.
