It seems as if comic readers are buffeted by controversial storyline after storyline from the big two as of late and it looks like this will be no exception. Writer Geoff Johns is promising this is the real thing and not simply just an out of continuity thing or some flirtation as we’ve encountered in the past. “This is the new status quo,” Johns said.
Jim Lee told EW he’s looking forward to the controversy: “Hopefully this will raise a lot of eyebrows. We welcome the water cooler chatter.”
