Magic: The Gathering Returns to Ravnica This October

One of the more popular Magic: The Gathering settings is about to make its return in a big way. Wizards of the Coast has a three part release schedule for the Return to Ravnica arc. The first of the releases, Return to Ravnica (obviously enough), is set to bow on October 5th with prerelease events scheduled for September 29th and 30th, as well as Pro Tour events planned for the weekend of October 19th in Seattle.

The code name for the first set is “Hook” and I’ll take a stab WotC is talking about hooking players, both old and new, into the new sets.

The new 274 card set will be released as Booster Packs, Intro Packs, Event Decks, Booster Battle Packs, and Fat Packs. *Whew*
