VPG Looks for Additional Playtesters

Our friends at Victory Point Games are looking for more playtesters for two upcoming expansion titles. If you’ve ever been interested in helping get a game produced, here is your chance!

Meet the VPG Designers This Saturday!

Every Saturday, VPG has their doors open for anyone to come on in and playtest games both old and new. This Saturday, July 9th, beginning at 12 Noon, you have a chance to meet with the designers of published VPG titles. What’s more, you have a chance to sit down with them and playtest their upcoming games!

It’s Time to Battle… For the Crown!

From designer Jeremy Lennert, comes a highly popular, two player, ‘deck-building’ game, For the Crown. Civil war has broken out between two royal brothers over the succession of the kingdom, and the people of a once-peaceful nation must choose sides and rush to war. In For the Crown, you must gather key resources, train an army from scratch, and capture the rival King and Heirs to prove your claim to the throne!

The Gaming Gang Episode 17 – Mansions of Madness, Emerald Empire, Resident Evil Alliance and a Whole Lot More

It was a lovely Saturday afternoon (at least in Arizona) as Elliott and Jeff record yet another relatively irrelevant episode. After a look at the latest gaming news, Elliott is joined by Dr. Scott Nicholson of On Board Games (and, the unfortunately the no longer in production, Board Games with Scott) as they discuss gaming at the library.

The boys review Mansions of Madness from Fantasy Flight Games, Emerald Empire 4th Edition for the Legend of the Five Rings RPG from AEG, and Resident Evil Alliance from Bandai.

Victory Point Games Wants You …to Playtest!

Our friends over at Victory Point Games are gearing up for their annual appearance at ConSimWorld Expo, to be held in Tempe, AZ in early June. This time of year is huge for VPG as they do their utmost to debut as many new titles as possible. This means there’s a dire need for playtesters to help ensure these new releases are up to the high standards of gameplay we’ve come to expect from “the little game company that could”.
