I have to admit I have absolutely no interest in the release of a Doctor Who themed Yahtzee, outside the novelty factor of having a Dalek as the shaker cup and dice marked with K-9, the Sonic Screwdriver, River’s Diary, the 4th Doctor’s scarf, the TARDIS, and the 11th Doctor’s Fez to include in my Doctor Who collection. Yet those who might be interested in Yahtzee: Doctor Who Dalek will be able to find the game this Summer, with an MSRP of $29.95.
Of much more interest (at least to me) is Risk: The Dalek Invasion of Earth.Granted we’re still talking about Risk overall but this edition will include five Dalek armies vying for control of Earth while the Doctor – no doubt represented as a non-player through power cards – looks to thwart his age old enemies. The game is for two to five players and will include the aforementioned power cards which can be used to bolster your own forces or hinder your opponents. Risk: The Dalek Invasion of Earth lands this Spring carrying an MSRP of $49.95.
