Mr. B Games is in the midst of the final week for the successful Nuclear Destruction Kickstarter run. The board game is the successor to the venerable – and laugh out loud funny – Nuclear War as players represent superpowers beginning the mutual assured destruction dance. The project is over 300% funded and you can reserve a copy of the new game for a $39.00 pledge while the 50th anniversary edition of Nuclear War is available, with Nuclear Destruction, for a pledge of $69.00 through June 26th. You’ll receive the 50th anniversary edition right after the project ends and Nuclear Destruction is slated to arrive in August 2025.
About the project:
Invented in 1965 by Doug Malewicki, Nuclear War has seen many editions and expansions over the years. The folks at Mr. B. Games have acquired the rights and are here on Kickstarter to try to revive this classic and bring it back to print – with your help!
Building on the foundation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, we’ve introduced a host of exciting enhancements to improve your gaming experience. Enjoy an array of new cards, expanded player mats, a new propaganda system, and the ability to play with up to six players, ensuring every game is packed with maximum fun. Its full-color cards are compatible with EVERY version of Nuclear War. It is designed as a stand-alone installment or to be combined with the 50th Anniversary edition for even more fun!
During this Kickstarter campaign, we will be offering Nuclear Destruction as well as the 50th Anniversary Edition of Nuclear War. Via Stretch Goals we hope to be able to reprint all the cards from the hard-to-find Booster Packs.
