I dive in for a review of Campaign Builder: Castles & Crowns from Kobold Press. The sourcebook is chock full of random tables and nuggets of detail to create interesting fantasy kingdoms and regions for your players to adventure in. The volume is designed for use with the Tales of the Valiant roleplaying game, Dungeons & Dragons, or any other 5E adjacent RPGs.

SUMMARY

Campaign Builder: Castles & Crowns is overflowing with random tables and various details aimed at creating interesting fantasy kingdoms for you roleplaying adventures. While the book is designed for use with Tales of the Valiant or Dungeons & Dragons, you can easily utilize a vast majority of the content with any roleplaying game. I would have liked a little more information about the construction of castles but that's a rather minor quibble. If you're a fantasy RPG GM this is a volume you'll certainly want in your collection.
