Delays Announced in Stronghold Games 2012 Titles

Stronghold Games announced, in their current newsletter, that their board game line-up for 2012 is being delayed. Revolver and Lost Temple have been pushed back to April from the originally planned March releases while Crude: The Oil Game, unfortunately, is a bit further back in the pipeline (no pun intended) and is delayed until June.

From Stronghold:

The supplier of the special tin boxes that Revolver will be coming in was not able to gather them together quickly enough for a March release, thus postponing Revolver to April. Revolver is a combat-driven card game centered around gunfighting.

Lost Temple was set to ship with Revolver, which has caused its release to move to April 2012 with Revolver. Lost Temple sets players in search of a mysterious temple, the winner being the first to find it.

Crude: The Oil Game has been postponed to June 2012 due to its complicated plastic pieces. Manufacturing is taking longer on the pieces, moving the release of Crude out further. Crude: The Oil Game is an economic board game where players drill oil, turn it into gas, and sell it to the consumer market.

Preorders for the above mentioned games will be delivered a month ahead of their shelf dates. If you can’t wait the extra time, make sure to place your preorders starting in February 2012 for Lost Temple and Revolver and May 2012 for Crude: The Oil Game.

As always, Stronghold Games only wishes to release games at their highest quality. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for sneak peeks and additional information on upcoming Stronghold Games releases.
