Mayfair Reveals Defect in Fourth Quarter Production Run of Settlers of Catan

Just to show no one is perfect, Mayfair Games has announced there is the possibility new buyers of Settlers of Catan may be receiving a flawed product. We’re happy to report Mayfair has realized the mistake and are on top of things to address the issue!

From Mayfair:

Mayfair Games has determined that a portion of the fourth quarter production run of MFG3061 The Settlers of Catan may contain a frame defect.   Frames and tiles should initially fit together very tight and will relax  through use.  However, this defect involves the miss cut of the #3 border connection which will not join cleanly.

Data collected to date indicate that this error composes a small portion of the fall 2011 production run, and is not an ongoing concern.

Do not return product to your source for Mayfair Games, we ask that you please contact customer service and Mayfair Games will provide replacement frames tiles to correct games in place as stated in our defectives policy.

We apologize for any inconvenience or aggravation that this issue may cause or have created for you or your customers.
