Another jam packed show as Elliott reviews Flat Acting from Eye-Level Entertainment and Locke & Key from Cryptozoic Entertainment while Jeff reviews Levee en Masse from Victory Point Games and Nuklear Winter ’68 from Lock ‘N Load Publishing.
Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of TGG without our usual off the cuff remarks and pop culture references…

Thanks for another great podcast! The humor and good nature really come through and are always refreshing. Thanks for digging into the back of the ‘glove box’ in your car to give Levee en Masse a review – and on the two year anniversary of its release no less.
It sounded like you wanted to know the latest with Levee so here it is – as you mentioned, Levee is getting the GMT treatment and will appear in a three-pack called Revolt and Revolution which is currently on the P500. The pack will also include Darin Levilof’s game on the Russian Revolution, Soviet Dawn and the third game in the pack will be my design on the English Civil War, Cruel Necessity. Cruel Necessity will be the ‘new’ game in the box. I’m really excited at the prospect of more people getting a chance to play these games.
In other Levee news, VPG is converting it into an app version for both the iOS and Android. Alan Emrich brough a playable demo of the game to GMT West last weekend and it looked and played amazingly well.
Jeff – I’m very much looking forward to chatting with you in Tempe in June…I hear that’s the best time to enjoy the heat there 🙂
Thanks for the additional details about Revolt and Revolution, John. I just couldn’t come up with it off the top of my head. We’ll be looking forward to that when it comes out from GMT.
Oh, and you know you’ll love our 110+ degree weather! 🙂
