July 19th is The Dark Knight Rises Day

DC Comics is going to give away free Batman swag at your local comic stores starting July 18th. The 19th is officially The Dark Knight Rises Day in anticipation of the film opening the following day. That Wednesday, you’ll be able to grab free Batman pins and on Thursday you can score one of the half million free copies of Batman: Earth One Special Preview Edition with includes story samples from Batman Earth One and Batman Vol. 1: The Court of Owls.

You can’t beat getting your hands on some freebies before you catch the blockbuster over that weekend.

Oh, you know you’re going to see the movie anyway so why not sport a shiny new Batman pin when you stroll into the theater or Imax?
