A year later, Boreanaz landed the “Bones” starring role, a series he has also produced and directed. In 2006, Boreanaz ventured into the comics world with a voice role in the animated feature Justice League: The New Frontier, to which he gave a nod in an episode of “Bones” in which his character is seen reading the Green Lantern character that he had voiced.
