One of the highlights of the San Diego Comic-Con is the announcement of the winners of the Eisner Awards – named after famed artist Will Eisner – and this year’s crop of nominees is a diverse bunch. Leading the pack of publishers is Fantagraphics with 24 nominations, followed by Image with 17 and IDW at 8.
