Last Call – The Bartender Game Mixes It Up This Winter

Wattsalpoag Games previewed their latest family game, Last Call – The Bartender Game, at this year’s Gen Con in Indy. In what could be Kris Gould and Mike Raabe’s fastest playing game yet (approximately 15 minutes to complete) each person moves bottles from bartender to bartender, trying to create exotic drinks for their customers. Don’t water down the drinks with too many ice cubes, and when “Last Call” comes, you could be tops in the tavern!

From Wattsalpoag Games:

Watch carefully to see which bartenders the dealer places cards on. When the right two bartender cards are dealt, call, “Order” to move a bottle. Try to move all the necessary bottles onto one of the bartender boards, and that bartender will make your drink. You get one ice cube for each extra bottle on the bartender board. When a player has made all four drinks, he calls, “Last Call,” and checks out. Now you get an ice cube for each bottle you move. When every player has finished all four drinks, the player with the fewest ice cubes wins.

With 24 custom molded plastic liquor bottles, 40 ice cubes, six boards, as well as cards and die-cut pieces, Last Call fills up Wattsalpoag’s new 12″ x 6″ x 4″ box size.

Order Me Up a Couple of These!

Luckily, you don’t have to be over twenty-one to enjoy Last Call which is designed for two to five players and ages 8+ and set to debut at  Spiel ’10 in Essen, Germany this October. After that,  distribution in for the US will begin in November and December, so look for it this winter!

Last Call – The Bartender Game will retail for $32.00 in the US.
