Bugs & Co: Yes, Faidutti & Co. Cannes

I don’t know which point I want to make first: that Bruno Faidutti and the guys responsible for Jungle Speed have a new game, or that there’s a board game convention in Cannes, France in February that we all need to be going to?

 

OK. Faidutti wins.

 

Bugs & Co. is the upcoming game from Libellud, the company that came from nowhere to win the 2010 Spiel des Jahres with Dixit. It seems clear by now that this is a company to watch—a European game company devoted to rules-light products designed to get players to interact in interesting ways—ways that keep you talking and laughing.

Bugs & Co. won’t be out until next month, and we’ll have to wait for the bugs to come out until then.
