‘Random Encounter: Plains of the Troll King’ to Arrive This April

In an interesting looking mashup of Minecraft style adventure graphics and Monty Haul loot grabbing gameplay, IDW Games has revealed plans to publish Jamie Keddie’s card game Random Encounter: Plains of the Troll King this April. The card game tasks one to five players in bashing as many monster as possible (to snag treasures) while protecting their own stash from everyone else. Early indications mention the game featuring hand management and trick taking mechanics. It appears this should be a fast and furious fun time which will appeal to family gamers everywhere.

Random Encounter: Plains of the Troll King is designed for ages ten and up and will carry an MSRP of $19.99.
