Earlier today Gen Con announced they had reached an agreement to extend their stay in Indianapolis through at least 2021.
I personally believe no matter what sort of gaming you may be invested in – be it LARPing, table top, or video games – we should always be exceptionally open and inviting in order to include people of all walks in our hobbies.

It might come as a surprise to some that last week’s announcement of the Gen Con featured industry presenters being comprised of a female majority has lead to overwrought hand ringing and blacklash across the internets.

The Wizard World Comic Con tour had its last stop of the year at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center (November 17th-19th). As for their second year, the convention had a lot to live up to after a successful kickoff and had the Northern Nevada area showing up with high expectations.
My favorite gaming convention continues to grow and it has just been announced Gen Con will expand into Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium for events in 2016. Gen Con takes place August 4th-7th, 2016.
