Talk about making a guy feel old. It’s hard to believe this September it will have been twenty five years since the character of Harley Quinn made her initial appearance in the Batman: The Animated Series episode Joker’s Favor. Harley made the jump to comics a year later and, in the near decade and a half since, has become one of DC Comics most beloved and hottest selling characters.
Just in time for the silver anniversary of Harley Quinn’s introduction DC has a special 400 page hardcover planned. Harley Quinn: A Celebration of 25 Years collects writing by Paul Dini, Karl Kesel, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Rob Williams alongside work from artists including Bruce Timm, Jim Lee, Terry Dodson, and Amanda Conner. The tome will be available September 13th and carry a very affordable MSRP of $39.99.
