Goodman Games has released the seventh volume of their Original Adventures Reincarnated line up, Dark Tower. This slipcase set include three volumes devoted to the classic Judges Guild fantasy roleplaying adventure penned and illustrated by the late Jennell Jaquays. The slipcase containing over 675 pages of content – across three hardcovers – (including PDFs) carries an MSRP of $109.99.

Dark Tower was one of Jennell Jaquays’s “holy trilogy”of adventure books for fantasy roleplaying games, along with The Caverns of Thracia and The Book of Treasure Maps. The elder, darker, more complicated sibling, Dark Tower set the standard for published adventure design in 1980. Jaquays crafted a rich, immersive adventure setting that provided tremendous opportunities for traditional dungeon exploration, tactical planning, and guerrilla warfare for part-time miniatures gamers, as well as more story-driven roleplaying, all wrapped up in a nice, neat package.
The Chosen Sons of Set is a continuation of the story started in Dark Tower. If the PCs undertake the quests herein, they can deal a devastating blow to Set’s immortality and power base… or their luck could run out, and they could be reduced to piles of bones left to bleach in the desert sands.
