AEG Reveals ‘Black Friday Black Box’

AEG has revealed they’ll be releasing a special mystery box (not that what’s in it will remain a mystery for long) this coming Black Friday, November 28th. Four games will be included and indications are that while the total MSRP of the games is $110, the actual price of the Black Friday Black Box will be $49.99. Rather than just packaging previously released titles, the Black Box will contain either new games or games with new artwork, retheming, or other elements.

It’s possible we might see another rethemed Love Letter or something along the lines of the Legend of the Five Rings editions of Guildhall or 7^th Hero which were part of the L5R Experience box at this year’s Gen Con. So far we know at least one of the titles included will be an entirely new game which has never be released to the public.

The Black Friday Black Box will become available on November 28^th and this is a limited edition set so I’m sure they’ll sell out fast. AEG is looking to make this an annual event and it’s possible we might even see multiple variations of the Black Box next year.
