The good folks at AEG have forwarded along another preview from the upcoming deck building game, Nightfall.
“Sir John Travail” is your typical vampire living the good life. Lot’s of influence, lots of food. Let’s just hope he doesn’t become too comfortable, there are plenty of things in Nightfall that would be more than happy to tear open “Sir John.”
Sir John is clearly an acceleration card, allowing you to get more copies of less expensive cards or bring in some more expensive cards faster. The three strength is average, though his low 2 hit points will be a detriment. You’ll have to make sure you’re running some other solid minions to back up this vampire. His kicker can also make for a lot of interesting plays, if you’re able to link it to something that does direct damage, or even something that returns cards to play.
