Arcane Wonders to Unleash ‘Volcanic Isle’ This July

Get ready to protect your inhabitants of Easter Island against erupting volcanoes this July in Volcanic Isle, from Arcane Wonders. In the game, each player will look to lead their settlements to prosperity all while trying to avoid increasingly devastating lava flows. Volcanic Isle is for two to four players, ages 13+, plays in around 45 minutes, and will carry an MSRP of $49.99 when it arrives July 10th.

Long ago, Easter Island was once a vast continent ravaged by constant volcanic activity. The settlers of the land raised Moai—gigantic monolithic statues—to appease the gods and mend the wounds of the land. Unfortunately, this very act of sealing off craters and geysers wouldn’t cure their island, but instead caused an even greater disaster to unfold…

Volcanic Isle is an exciting game for two to four players tasked with building villages and raising Moai across the continent. However, with each Moai raised, the possibility of a volcanic eruption increases! Eruptions will devastate settlements and even remove whole sections of the board!

At the end of the game, the player with the most thriving settlement amidst the chaos of volcanic activity and an ever-changing landscape is the winner!
