I found Archmage to be a lot of fun and an interesting mix of mechanics. Early in the game your mage is off exploring while by the mid game they better be working on beefing up their spell book. The component quality is top notch with the Collector's Edition although I do wish there were more spells for added variety. Still, the game is plenty entertaining with the possibility of replayabilty taking a hit as players utilize the same strategies play after play.
