I share my thoughts about Battlezoo Ancestries: Classic Creatures from Roll for Combat. This is the 5E edition of the book and it features a dozen ancestries players can take on the roles of in their Dungeons & Dragons campaigns. Classic Creatures is also available for Pathfinder.
SUMMARY
Battlezoo Ancestries: Classic Creatures is a lavishly produced volume filled with mostly interesting and unique species for players to bring to life. Truthfully, two of the entries are rather goofy IMO and I can't imagine too many players gravitating toward them. Depending on the sort of D&D campaign you're running will determine how easily integrated these ancestries turn out to be. A solid book though and I think a good number of DMs and players will enjoy the contents.
