Steve Jackson Games has picked up the rights to the dice rolling game Chupacabra: Survive the Night, originally made available through the Haywire Group, and will re-release the game in November. Chupacabra is for up to four players and includes 24 glow in the dark dice. Games play in ten to twenty minutes as players look to use the Chupacabra (vampire-like creatures from urban legend) they’ve rolled to attack the other players’ livestock. Collecting all the dice earns you the win.
Chupacabra: Survive the Night will sport the same packaging as SJG’s Zombie Dice and will carry an MSRP of $19.95.
From SJG:
Can you survive the night?
Night falls, and the bloodsucking Chupacabra stalks its prey. Its red eyes mean doom . . .
Divide up the 24 glow-in-the dark dice. When you roll a Chupacabra, you can take dice from your opponents – but they can do the same to you. Claim all the dice, and be the only one to survive the night!
Two to four players can play. Each game takes just 10 to 20 minutes and can be taught in a single round.
