I have to say the Essentials Kit is the most impressive introduction to Dungeons & Dragons in a long, long time. For the price point the box is loaded with plenty of value. The rule book provides everything players and a DM will need to take the characters through the Dragon of Icespire Peak adventure and reach 6th level or so. The included cards and DM screen aren't of the highest quality but they certainly get the job done. a full set of dice and character sheets round out an excellent product. Even longtime Dungeon Masters might want to pick the box set up simply for the adventure alone.
