The latest entry in the Dark Cities series, from Facade Games, has launched on Kickstarter and quickly demolished its funding goal. Deadwood 1876 is a social deduction game where players team together to steal safes full of gold before a final, winner-take-all showdown. Deadwood 1876 is for two to nine players, ages 13+, and plays in around 20-40 minutes. You can reserve a copy of the game, and unlocked stretch goals, at the $23.00 pledge level. This also includes free shipping in the U.S. with an estimated delivery in October.

There’s gold in the Black Hills of South Dakota, and you’ve come to find (or steal) your share. You’re staying at one of the three major establishments in Deadwood where you and your associates are working together to steal some of the gold-filled safes floating around town. But you suspect that the “friends” you’re working with are secretly plotting to keep all the gold for themselves. Will you be ready to turn on them before they shoot you in the back?
