Chronicle Books will be releasing a new edition of the family friendly Cat Rescue next Spring. In this cooperative game, players work to shuttle cards, representing homeless cats, from foster homes and shelters to try and get them adopted. Cat Rescue is for one to five players, ages 8+, plays in 15-30 minutes, and will carry an MSRP of $16.95 when it arrives in May.
From Chronicle:
Help these cats find their forever homes!
Work together to rescue cats in this easy-to-learn cooperative card game full of head-scratching puzzles and clawsome fun! Players move cat cards from the street or foster homes into the shelter, and then line up a series of matching cats to get them ready for adoption. Can you clear the shelter and find loving homes for all your feline friends?
During the game, players take a turn to take a cat from the street or rescue home and slide it into the cat shelter. When there are three or four cats of the same color in a row or column, cats in the middle are flipped over and now ready for adoption. When the flipped over cats are pushed out of the shelter, they are adopted to their new loving home. The game ends when the deck is depleted or when a rescue home has three cats. Players together receive a “Cat Rescue” title based on the number of cats that are flipped and adopted.
