GAMA Trade Show 2014: AEG to Fire Off Doomtown: Reloaded this August

Sorry to say I wasn’t able to catch up with our pal Todd Rowland at the GAMA Trade Show but we did catch word of big news from AEG – Doomtown is riding back from out of the sunset with Doomtown: Reloaded. The classic CCG, set in the Weird West, is being reimagined by Alderac Entertainment Group so we aren’t looking at simply a reprint but a revamp with plenty of new goodies. The base set is scheduled for an August release (Gen Con anyone?) and includes four faction for you to set upon slappin’ leather.

Featuring four factions, tons of extra cards, tokens, and a Town Square player aid, Doomtown: Reloaded is a fantastic game for anyone looking for serious Weird West action.  Play your deeds, control them with your dudes, and don’t let the opponent’s take over your town.  Doomtown: Reloaded features poker mechanics, where the best hands in shootouts determine who lives and who dies… or not.  This is the Weird West after all, and not everyone buried in Boot Hill tends to stay there.
