From Game Salute:
Game Salute and Clever Mojo Games (CMG) are proud to announce that they have joined forces. Game Salute has hired David MacKenzie, founder of CMG, to serve as Chief Springboard Officer, heading up the company’s game development and publishing department. Under the agreement, Game Salute has acquired the publication contracts for all of Clever Mojo Games’ current titles (Alien Frontiers, Sunrise City, Ogre Castle) and all of CMG’s projects in development (Princes of the Dragon Throne, Swinging Jivecat Voodoo Lounge, Formula E, Flummox, Forge, Monsters & Maidens, Awesome Possum, Scrapbots).
“I’m very excited to be working with Game Salute,” said CMG’s founder, David MacKenzie. ”We have wonderful game designs from all around the world, and I’m already hard at work helping the Game Salute team bring these awesome titles to gamers everywhere.”
“For the latest example of David’s dedication to amazing game creation and support, look no further than Story Realms,” said Game Salute’s CEO, Dan Yarrington. “It’s an amazing blend of board gaming and roleplaying for gamer families but it’s a system that can be adopted by any roleplaying group looking for a exciting twist on their familiar themes.” The Springboard campaign for Story Realms (closing today, October 4th on Kickstarter.com) reached it’s primary funding goal in less than a week and has successfully reached every stretch goal for the project.
Future games to be published by Game Salute include Nothing Personal, a game by Tom Vasel and Steve Avery. Game Salute will be publishing exciting titles from both fresh, new game designers and well-known names like Bruno Faidutti, Michael Elliott, and Richard Launius.
