Gen Con Announces 2012 Charity

Every year the gang at Gen Con choose a charity to receive the proceeds from various events. 2012 will be no different as STARS Youth Foundation, Inc will benefit from gamers enjoying the con!

Gen Con isn’t just about gaming; it’s also about giving!

Last year, you helped to raise almost $16,000 for charity!  

This year, Gen Con Indy will be raising funds for STARS Youth Foundation, Inc (SYF).

SYF serves underprivileged youth through innovative programming designed to empower them to succeed academically, socially, and morally. SYF is dedicated to transforming the Indianapolis community, one youth at a time. Gen Con is thrilled to be able to support them in this endeavor through your support.

Gen Con will be hosting the following events in which proceeds will go directly to the charity:

• Ace of Aces XI
• Cardhalla XIV
• Charity Auction
• Jail-n-Bail

While onsite, be sure to stop by the STARS Youth Foundation booth located in the Family Fun Pavilion of the Exhibit Hall.
