For those who have taken part in the giveaway goodness in the past, you’ll find the download icons in many of the usual places so be on the lookout for jack-o-lanterns, witch’s hats, bats, ghosts, and candies. If you’ve never taken part in the hunt before simply create an account (if you don’t already have one) and start clicking away on various links throughout the sites. You’ll find these freebies at DriveThruRPG, RPGNow (all the same items so you don’t need to visit both) DriveThruCards, DriveThruComics and DriveThruFiction. Be sure to act fast as the scavenger hunts normally only run through October 31st.

I have to say I haven’t encountered a candy icon at DTRPG so either I’ve missed it or there isn’t one of those in the hunt at the site this year. These are also the locations you’ll find other goodies at DriveThruComics and DriveThruFiction although every page doesn’t have an icon to click depending on the site. I didn’t find any scavenger hunt items at DriveThruCards although it’s one of the sites mentioned for visitors to go “door to door.”
