I share my thoughts about the dungeon delving drinking game Heroes of Barcadia from Rollacrit. The game is a tongue-in-cheek mash up of fantasy roleplaying games and booze related puns and plays on words.
SUMMARY
Heroes of Barcadia is certainly not for everyone (especially if you don't drink alcohol or play fantasy RPGs) but the gang and I had a lot of fun with the game. It's easy to teach
newcomers and makes for a fun party game - granted for a party of no more than eight people with the add on Party Pack - as long as you have the right crowd. I do wish there had
been options for more cooperative play, since there are plenty of people out there who shy away from competitive games with a lot of "take that" to the proceedings.
