The Basics
The first thing every Deck needs is monsters! Without monsters you can’t attack or defend, so Starter Deck: Xyz Symphony comes with 20 monsters. That’s half your Deck, right there!
You’ll get to play with some of Yuma’s favorite monsters, like Gogogo Golem, Zubaba Knight, Ganbara Knight, and Goblindbergh. But that’s not all! In addition to 20 regular monsters, Starter Deck: Xyz Symphony also has FIVE awesome Xyz Monsters, including Yuma’s first Numbered monster, Number 39: Utopia!
Xyz Monsters From Another Universe!
Yuma had to get his first Xyz Monster from Astral, but you’ll get 5 just for picking up this Deck, including Number 39: Utopia. Xyz Monsters are easy to Summon, really strong, and they look cool too!
Xyz Monsters don’t go with the rest of the cards in your Deck. You keep them in a separate pile called your Extra Deck, where they wait to be called into action. You never need to worry about drawing the right Xyz Monster, because as long as you have the monsters listed on the one you want, you can Summon it from your Extra Deck!
Duel Tools
You can’t make a winning Deck with just monsters, so Starter Deck: Xyz Symphony also gives you 10 Spells and 10 Traps to work with. When your monsters need help, your Spells and Traps are vital for staying in the game. They can power up your monsters, weaken or destroy enemy monsters, make it easier to Xyz Summon, and a whole lot more!
