‘Legendary: Encounters’ Terrifies Gen Con Masses

Legendary: EncountersOk, fans weren’t terrified but they sure were enamored with the new Upper Deck release, Legendary: Encounters, at this year’s Gen Con. As you may have already learned through my interview with UD’s Jason Brenner, Legendary: Encounters is based on the 20th Century Fox series of Alien movies and is a fully co-op deck building game. There were loads of gamers picking up copies and I personally know the title was out of the allotted stock by the end of each of the first three days of the con.

Legendary: Encounters should be available in store within the next month and will carry an MSRP of $49.99. Plus, stay tuned for an in depth review very soon!

From Upper Deck:

There are some places in the universe you don’t go in alone! Legendary moves from battling Super Villains to battling chest-bursting, face-hugging, acid-for-blood-spewing Aliens! In the first-ever Alien Deck Building Game, players must cooperate to defeat the terrifying Xenomorphs using the greatest protagonists in the Alien Universe, including Ripley, Dallas, Bishop and Private Hicks! Each Core Set comes with over 500+ playable cards featuring new, original art!
