Marvel Heroic Roleplaying: Civil War Event Books Coming Next Month

The first event books are on the schedule for Marvel Heroic Roleplaying from Margaret Weiss Productions. As previously mentioned the initial event to be tackled is based on the award winning Marvel Comics Civil War limited series published in 2006-2007. We now have some more information about the books that will make up the series.

Marvel Heroic Roleplaying: Civil War Event Book Essentials will feature the Event without the Operations Manual, so that if you’ve got the Basic Game, you don’t need the extra rules inside.

Marvel Heroic Roleplaying: Civil War Event Book Premium will have the Operations Manual included, so that you can have all your rules in the same place.

Marvel Heroic Roleplaying: Civil War – 50 States Initiative is an Event Supplement, which will, presumably feature other teams from across the country.

There’s also supposed to be an X-Men related source book for the Civil War event but I don’t have any info about that yet.

The Essential Version of Marvel Heroes: Civil War will retail for $29.99, while the Premium Version will retail for $39.99. Both will be hardbound books.
