I was curious if Ares could pull off a 4X game which played in 90 minutes still kept the vibe of much longer games. I can happily report I really enjoyed MotG and you really get that 4X science fiction experience in about an hour an a half. This bag building/engine building game ramps up nicely so you don't spend a whole lot of time getting the ball rolling. I do wish there were a few more cards in each deck because you begin to see the same cards being utilized in similar strategies quite a bit after repeated play.
