About the project:

Only your heroes can rescue the Jewel of Varisia from the dangers threatening to tear it apart! Adventure through six books of shadowy intrigue, deadly plague, and foes from all sides using the Savage Worlds ruleset. Between the machinations of crimelords, the harsh trials of the Shoanti barbarians, the undead legions of Kazavon, and the draconian fist of the queen, can your party save Korvosa from ruin?

The Curse of the Crimson Throne boxed set comes with everything you need for an unforgettable roleplaying experience! In addition to the six softcover books of the Adventure Path, you also get the Guide to Korvosa, which details everything you need to know about the culture, geography, and peoples of the port city. You also get a full color Crimson Throne Poster Map to track your party’s adventures along this savage and exciting tale.
New Adversary Cards just for Curse of the Crimson Throne keep stats for important and useful enemies right at your fingertips, while the Crimson Throne Handouts give your players tangible clues to uncover the sinister secrets of this fan-favorite epic.

Use the Harrow Deck to perform a mystical harrowing that speaks to the past, present, and future of your heroes. These tellings grant special benefits to the players and even foreshadow moments where each character serves as the chosen servant of destiny.

Of course, you’ll need new tools to face off against these new threats, which is where the Advanced Player’s Guide comes in! With new Ancestries, Edges, Hindrances, Gear, Powers, and Magic Items, there’s something for everyone.

Play as celestial-blooded Aasimar, nimble Catfolk, half-living Dhampirs, or fiend-born Tieflings with an expanded list of ancestry options to choose from. Or, try out the alternate ancestral abilities for your classic favorites: Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes, Half-Elves, Half-Orcs, and Halflings.

Raised by outlaws? Or did someone sell off a part of your soul as a child? Let our host of new Hindrances inspire your next character’s backstory! Or grab one of the new Background Edges that keys off your character’s Ancestry. Play one of the six new classes:

  • Capture the essence of the arcane in your mixtures and elixirs as the Alchemist.
  • As the Cavalier, never back down from a challenge!
  • Mete out justice to the unrighteous as the Inquisitor.
  • Your Oracle walks a mysterious path with the support of the gods.
  • Always fight with your Eidolon at your side as the Summoner.
  • Hex troublesome fools and foes alike with the powers of the Witch.

Or try out one of the new Class Edges for the original classes from the Core Rules! Plus numerous Combat, Leadership, Power, Prestige, Social, Weird, and Legendary Edges. And don’t forget to check out the new gear items, powers, and magical items.
